2015 4-star SG Frank Howard has announced that he will make his college decision on his birthday, April 14. Howard, 6-4, 245 lbs, attends Paul VI Catholic in Virginia. Frank announced last week that he would announce next Monday. His final list of schools include Syracuse, Maryland, Virginia, Georgetown, North Carolina State, and Ohio State.
Frank has told me throughout his recruitment that Syracuse has stood out to him. He likes SU's style of play and the coaching staff. Howard has visited Syracuse before, most recently in October for Orange Madness. My most recent conversation with Frank included him telling me he was planning on visiting Syracuse after the season. He also mentioned his decision would be coming towards the end of summer. The visit to Syracuse isn't happening, and his decision has been pushed up a few months.
I still like Syracuse's chances for Howard, but only time will tell. Howard could be the third member of the 2015 recruiting class for the Orange. Frank would join 5-star guard Malachi Richardson, and 4-star forward Tyler Lydon. One spot would remain in the 2015 class with many top prospects still left on Syracuse's board.
